Learn deeply. Be Creative. Experience wholeness. Make great happen.
Week of June 2, 2014
This week, we continued to learn deeply, be creative, and experience wholeness. Our independent study projects have finally come alive! Our third graders worked so hard on their research. They used a wide variety of mediums to present their findings, including iMovie, Prezi, and posters. The students had such positive experiences learning about their topics and learning from each other.
We also celebrated Shavuot! Well experienced wholeness as we all wore white and wreaths on our heads. The Shavuot service was also a beautiful way for us to end our week (well, almost end).

We studied about Israel's Independence Day, sang, ate Israeli food, and watched an amazing presentation by our 4th graders.

Homework
Third grade is a pivotal year for your child’s education.
How involved should I be in my child’s homework?
The purpose of homework is to reinforce skills learned in class, build responsibility and foster independence. Therefore we ask you to review your child’s homework each night to make sure everything has been completed. Please do not correct your child’s homework.
*Please initial assignment books nightly!*
