This week students in room 5 started learning about their teeth. They learned that a child's mouth has 20 teeth in all! They also learned about how to take care of their teeth. They also learned about interrogatives and worked on asking questions as they wrote a letter to the tooth fairy. In room 6, students started studying health and the human body. They learned about the different ways to keep their body healthy such as by washing hands and blowing their nose. In math we started ordinal numbers. Students learned sequencing words that help them put events in order. They also practiced ordering objects as first, second, third, etc... They also learned how to rank their preferences using first, second, and third. In Mrs. Katan's hebrew class students learned about spring and started learning about Passover.
