Welcome to Project Studio
Project Studio provides students with opportunities to learn through integrated learning experiences that incorporate art, technology, and science. The program extends the grade-level’s Social Studies curriculum.
The Project Studio space is uniquely designed for the program with a combination of open and versatile space for collaboration along with a design space with enormous tables and stools and a “kid friendly” workshop area where their ideas come to life.
The students develop their own creative solutions to questions like “How do people build their homes in different places in the world?”, “How would a Native American tribe construct their village if they lived in a place near a river?”, or “What elements would a sacred space need?” The children use technology to gain information and then delve into their 3-dimensional projects using a variety of art materials. The program encourages exploration, problem-solving, and allows children to bring their own strengths to the learning process.
