Along with our walk, play and baking, we have been hard at work refining the children's fine motor skills through lacing cards shaped like farm animals, tracing books and puzzles. It is special for us to see the growth in all the children. Their faces light up with such excitement and joy.
Thursday, as always is a special day. Filled with song and story. We had Rabbi Sari tell us a story about taking in all the miracles around us. We should look to the sky and watch the clouds, look at the birds above and fish in the ocean. Giving us color and beauty. We should never take advantage of the earth and learn to appreciate all that it gives us each and every day. Andrew as always had us singing and dancing. We grew like trees and had shakers the shape of fruit. We also examined our chicken eggs and learned how to tell a fertilized egg with the formation of chick from a fertilized egg that has no growth. We explained the process in a child friendly way.
Friday is the day of rest for our class. We bake and slow down the pace of class to bring in the feeling of Shabbat. Chloe's family joined us and gave us fun treats to make it a sweet and special Shabbat celebration.
Please remember to send us in Family pictures. You can email to us and we will be happy to print them out.
