We had a very busy week in Room 14 and we want to thank all the Dads that were able to stop by and visit our classroom. We opened the week continuing our learning about numbers, numbers and more numbers! We exercised their minds through the use of puzzles, games and pictures to reinforce our teachings!
We visited the library this and read a few books that the children had chosen! We enjoyed music with Brock outside in the amphitheater. We sat in a huge circle and played with instruments and really enjoyed the music and the beautiful weather. We used puzzles a great deal this week and they are a wonderful tool for building self-confidence in that your child can feel the accomplishment of taking a puzzle apart and putting it back together. Educational studies have also shown that the more adept a child is at doing puzzles, the quicker they will pick up their pre-reading skills. Make sure you have plenty of them at home! We ended the week with a beautiful Fathers and Grandfathers Shabbat. We hope you have a wonderful weekend. Reminders: March 1- Picture Day March 4- Massimo is Shabbat Boy!
