Dear Parents,
As we are coming to the end of the school year, we have enjoyed challenging the children and seeing how much they have grown. This week the children completed patterns puzzles that allow children of all levels to complete either the AB patterns or ABC patterns. We put out the marble maze building activity and noticed the much more intricate mazes that were made compared to when we previously had this toy. On our rainy day in, we also set out game stations and the children independently rotated between them and held each other accountable for completing the games correctly. We also had our themed days this week. For pajama day, we had show and tell for the stuffed animals that were brought in, story time, we put audio books on during nap time instead of music and had waffles for snack. During our crazy day, the children were so excited to share what their outfits were with their friends and we did a silly version of our game “can you do what I can do” where the children copy one other. During beach day, we had pools with shredded recycled paper, a throwing balls into a basket station for coordination, and made watermelon pizza for snack (watermelon slices with yogurt and fruit toppings.) It was so lovely having an all school Shabbat for our last Shabbat of the year. Thank you to everyone who made every Shabbat so special. Reminders: Next week is our last week of school! Last day is Wednesday June 6th. Summer camp begins Monday June 18th. Shabbat Shalom, Room 14 teachers
