Room 14 has been very thankful this week. We are thankful for this beautiful weather and for our beautiful friends and family. This week we really focused on what being thankful means to our friends in our classroom.
We started the week with a special Thanksgiving art project. We made turkeys out of pinecones! We made eyes and beaks out of natural materials we found on our nature walk. Wednesday we had music with Brock! We used rain sticks and danced all around the room with them. This week we also read a story called My Grandmother’s Dream Catcher. The book was about sometimes having bad dreams and how dream catchers are used to take them all away. After reading this story we decided to make our very own dream catchers. The children used beads, feathers and natural materials to make them and they are so excited to take them home and hang them above their own beds! We ended the week with a beautiful Shabbat. We hope you have a wonderful weekend. Shabbat Shalom Reminders: No school Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (Thanksgiving Break) November 22- Daditude ( 9:15- 10: 45 ) Witzman Playground edit.
