Dear Parents, On Monday, we started off the week with a beautiful Havdalah ceremony. The children learned the rituals, including lighting a special Havdalah candle, blessing a cup of wine, and smelling the sweet spices. We are continuing to talk about jobs and we have given each child a designated job for the week. From line leader to snack helper, the children are feeling a sense of belonging and gaining responsibility in the classroom. On Tuesday, we had a fire drill and the children understood the rules that keep them safe. Thank you to Celine's mom, Shiva, for joining us in the library and reading the children stories. During group time, the children worked with Alphabet bean bags. They said the letter and tossed the bean bag in the Lion. This is just one more way for the children to practice their letter recognition and use their gross motor skills while doing so. Music with teacher Brock was filled with song and dance. The children played freeze dance and shook rain sticks to Purim songs. The spirit continues. We culminated our unit on Purim on Friday, where your children had the opportunity to dress up and sing along with Ditza. It was a celebration to be remembered! Shabbat Shalom and have a great weekend, Bam, Lindsay, and Cindy REMINDERS: -WPA is asking all families to bring a package of berries, no later than Thursday, March 31st, for our Farmers Market. -April 1st- Shabbat Helper (Ashley)
