Dear Room #12 Parents,
This week has been very busy and exciting for all of us. On Monday, we celebrated Earth Day. We sang songs with Brock, learned how mulch is made, did some planting, and drank fresh made fruit smoothies. (Yum Yum) The children made telescopes with the toilet paper rolls all of you brought in (thank you). This, of course, lead to a discussion on how we can make other things from materials we generally throw out. To get ready for Israel’s birthday, we baked a delicious chocolate cake with icing to enjoy along with all the other foods you brought in. (thank you once again) On Thursday, we celebrated Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s birthday. At first, we sang songs and danced with Brock in the Amphitheater. We then came back into our room to celebrate Israel’s birthday with our friends in room #13. We had a wonderful time singing, eating, and chatting with our friends next door. We thank all of you once again for helping to make this week amazing! Enjoy your weekend as we say, Shabbat Shalom. Cindy & Miriam
