Dear Parents, Your little Explorers have been very busy! We started off the week with our Havdallah service, which reminds us all that Shabbat has ended, and we are ready for a brand new week. The lighting of the candle, the sweet smelling spices, and the beautiful songs, bring a lovely sense of togetherness for all. The children have been preparing for Passover, reciting the blessings, learning the traditions, and realizing that, “this night is different than any other night”. “Why is this night different?” The children are busy pursuing and absorbing new experiences. They seem to have developed a longer attention span and greater verbal skills. They are very social and love practicing roles and routines. As we continue to focus on our jobs in the classroom, the children are learning each day a sense of community and responsibility. It truly is helping them physically and emotionally to understanding the concept of bringing people together from the four corners of the world! What a great way to culminate our unit on Passover, a practice classroom Seder. The children enjoyed their special time with you, and they were able to share their newly found knowledge of Passover. Thanks to all the parents for your help, and for making this time a memorable one. Happy Passover to all! Shabbat Shalom and to a relaxing spring break, Bam, Lindsay, and Cindy REMINDERS: May 2nd- School resumes May 2nd-6th- Grandmother’s/Mother’s Week May 4th- Mommy & Me, "Tomorrow Brunch" - A special day just for “MOM” @ 10:30am Rm. 15 May 6th- All school Shabbat and Grandmother’s/Mother’s Brunch
