October 30th 2015 Dear Parents, Your children welcomed back Teacher Cindy with open arms (literally!). After only one day, everything fell right back into place, as it was before she left on medical leave. We realize it was a short week for your children, however, we continued our work with creating patterns. At circle-time your children had the opportunity to create a pattern with pumpkins and squash. Many learning experiences were available to them when creating these patterns. The pumpkins, being orange, and the squash white, the children were quite able to achieve a color pattern. Also, the pumpkins, being large, and the squash much smaller, your children were able to create large and small patterns. Teacher Bam then brought in pine cones to see if the children could create a pattern using three different objects. We will continue along this path of three as our school year moves along. The children enjoyed riding their bikes on Baron Field, as well as singing and dancing with Teacher Brock on Wednesday. We would like to thank all the parents who were able to come and chat with us this week. It is always so very special for us to be able to sit down and talk to you about your amazing children. Once again, thank you for the beautiful flowers you brought us on Monday. Your kindness and especially your support mean so much to us. Please enjoy a wonderful weekend. Don’t forget to change your clocks this weekend. An extra hour of sleep……Yes!
