Dear Parents,
Throughout our week, your children were very busy!! From releasing crickets outside and having a blast watching them jump all over themselves to our still art projects that focused on their fine motor and creativity skills, your children not only had fun, but got to learn more about Hanukkah, the symbols surrounding the holiday and had so much fun!! Our still art project consisted of drawing a hanukkiah and dreidel. Each drawing came out beautiful in its own way and they got to decide on what colors they wanted to use, some choosing only one and some wanting to replicate the hanukkiah exactly how it looked. Be sure to check out their artwork in our classroom next time you come by. Teacher Chen’s (Room 12) sister came to visit and read to all the Explorer classes a story that she wrote about Hanukkah. We practiced all our Hanukkah songs every day with our friends in Room 14 and your children sang so wonderfully. Thank you to every one of you for helping make our Hanukkah party a huge success. We hope you enjoyed watching your children sing, pray and share in such a special gathering. Thank you to Chanel and her family for joining us in such a beautiful Shabbat celebration. . Shabbat Shalom!
