Dear Parents, What a busy fun filled week we have had! We missed Sue lots but getting to know our sub teacher for the week, Jasmine was fun - she was awesome! She really got us as a group and is so much fun to play with. We started out with color sorting and dot art at our indoor centers and ended up making cool creations with our building materials. The children enjoying constructing with the large wooden blocks, the magnet tiles on the light table and the stacking pegs. We used descriptive & comparative words like long, longer, longest, tall, taller and tallest to describe the details of our work. The ideas, thought and planning for the construction that were created were quite impressive. We built a car garage and a balance beam that everyone could enjoy taking turns or playing with together. In the outdoor environment the children enjoyed playing with babies, going for walks and running, jumping, riding and climbing to stay warm in the cold weather! On Friday we joined with our neighbors in the class next door. We played in the housekeeping area and enjoyed outdoor exploration in the sand box and stacking, building with wood tree pieces. We kept busy all week and look forward to even more learning and fun after winter break. We will miss you! Enjoy a safe and fun holiday season. Shabbat Shalom & Happy New Year Sue & Anita
