Dear Parents,
We started our week off with a beautiful day. The weather was so nice we spent most of our time outside. The children explored the outdoor centers like easel painting, music and musical instruments, and sand and water play. All of the children became so involved in their play. We also enjoyed our snack picnic style under the shade of our trees. It was lovely! Inside we prepared our thanksgiving center pieces. We painted, glued and poked feathers, pods, leaves, twigs and pinecones into play dough. Exploring all the sensory materials and strengthening our fine motor skills as we created these beautiful works of art was so much fun! We've got lots of reminders for the coming weeks as the holidays approach. Our Thanksgiving feast is on Monday, November 23rd and our sign-up will be displayed to remind you about what to bring. The following event will be the Hanukkah party which we will be having on December 7th. Our sign up is now up. Please take a minute to sign-up. Shabbat Shalom, Sue & Anita REMINDERS: Daditude is this Sunday, November 22nd from 9:15 – 10:45 a.m. Dads can enjoy the morning networking and chatting with each other while your children play on the Witzman Yard. Wednesday, November 25th is a Pupil Free Day. The EC teaching staff will be training further with our Occupational Therapist, Lindsay Astor Grant.
