It has been another Purim fun filled week here in Room 23. The children were so busy dressing up and pretending to be Queen Esther, King Ahasverosh and Haman. They all looked so amazing in their costumes. Our focus was on groggers this week. We talked about why we have them on Purim and listened to the many different sounds that different types of groggers make. Everyone made their own to use during the Purim story and at Temple next week . Some children made other creations with water colors, markers, glue and glitter that will be hung in the Kingdom of Shushan. All week our play revoled around the Purim story. The children used boxes of all shapes and sizes and other buliding materials to create the town of Shushan. Next week we will continue with Purim and end the week with a special dress-up shabbat. Hope to see you at the Purim Carnival this Sunday!
