Wow this week really went by fast. Thank you to everyone for coming to conferences and taking time to hear all the wonderful things about your children. This truly is an amazing class with great children and families.
This week we got busy learning about Passover. We started by telling the story of Passover, how King Pharaoh hurt the Jewish people and how Moses was their hero. They are also learning many new Passover songs to sing at our class Seder. The children have been busy spending time creating the red sea complete with a desert and frogs. During the day some of the children spent time retelling the story to each other using our flannel story. In the next couple of weeks leading up to Passover break we will continue to learn about this holiday. Did you all meet our new fishy friend? His name is Slimy Maui. The children all picked names then voted on which one to pick. He is our new class pet and the children are having fun taking turns feeding him and watching him swim around. *REMINDERS* - Class Seder Wednesday April 3rd at 9:30am in room 23 - Library: Mona and Marina Monday April 1st @10:30 - Spring Break April 15th - 26th
