Can you believe the year is over? It is incredible how much the kids have learned and grown over the year. We have made so many lasting memories and friendships in Room 23. We had a very busy and exciting week. Some days were cold and spent mostly inside and other days had water play in the warm sun. We discussed weather and when it is hot and cold. On Thursday, we celebrated Lag B’omer by having an outside picnic snack with the entire First Steps community. We all sat together and enjoyed singing, eating and talking with our friends. The children were ecstatic to have water play. They splashed, poured, dumped and measured water into all different sized containers. It was a great math activity where they explored volume, density and compared sizes. We cannot wait until summer so we can have water play every day. Reminders:
