We have had such a fun week! Purim is almost here and our friends in Room 24 have been painting face masks, making noise makers, beaded necklaces, crowns and trying on silly masks. We have read books, told the story with puppets and flannel board stories. All of these activities are part of the joyous traditions of Purim. What a wonderful holiday for children, costumes, noisemakers and delicious cookies!
Our celebration continues next week... Wednesday, March 4th is Wacky Wednesday. Come to school dressed WACKY! Clothes inside out, mismatched, or anything else that is crazy - maybe crazy hair or crazy pajamas! Friday, March 6th come to school dressed in your Purim costume. Dress up as a queen, king or super hero! Whatever you like! Thanks to all the dads, grandfathers (and moms) for coming to play with us. It was wonderful to be together and to celebrate Shabbat as a community. Thank you to Remi and Golareh for the wonderful snacks this week. Wishing everyone Shabbat Shalom and a peaceful weekend! Judy and Sue
