Dear Room 24 Families,
Well, it seems like El Nino still isn’t here yet, so we have been lucky enough to enjoy the sunny outdoors again this week. We have been adding some water play and washing some toys to get ahead of the spring cleaning. We have also welcomed some fathers and grandfathers this week. It has been so wonderful seeing the children interact with their families at school. We can’t wait to see most of you for the all school Father/Grandfather Shabbat this Friday. The children are really making strong connections and are working on team work and cooperation. We have been seeing a lot of building together and learning how to take turns. Also the children that stay for rest time are now carrying their own mats to the other room for storage. They learned that they need at least 2 friends to help them do this! We also learned a new song this week, ask your child about “the old lady who swallowed a fly” (is our case, she cries….) But there favorite is still “little bunny foo-foo! Next week we will start discussing the Holiday of Purim, we will be teaching them songs, dressing up, talk about Haman’s hat and of course we will be making Hammentashen!!!!! A few reminders: Picture day is March 2nd at 10:30 Parent/teacher conferences are on Wednesday March 16 (half day/ March 17 (all day) signup sheets will post soon. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and Shabbat Shalom Marloes and Miri
