Dear Parents,
Thank you for your continued support with us to help your children adjust to school. Separation is an ongoing process and with the approaching holidays and lots of runny noses, as parents and teachers we need to be mindful of the children's feelings. Preschoolers love books and together with your child reading and discussing their feelings can be helpful. Anna Dewdney's Llama Llama Misses Mama and Audrey Penn's The Kissing Hand are two enjoyable books to share with your children. We introduced the holiday of Rosh Hashanah to the children with books, music and symbols. We ate apples dipped in honey and sang the song, Apples dipped in honey for Rosh Hashanah. The children painted with rollers and created red apples. Andrew our music teacher visited us on Monday, the children sang, danced and played instruments while singing Rosh Hashanah songs. We wish you a sweet and healthy new year. Shanah Tovah, 🍎🍯 Debbie, Erika & Gali Reminders: School closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah Thursday, September 21st and Friday, September 22nd. School dismissal at noon in observance of Yom Kippur on Friday, September 29th.
