It's been a wonderful week in Room 25! The weather has been beautiful and we had the opportunity to welcome dads and grandfathers to our class and our community. What a blessing to experience family connections. Our friends played, read books and did activities with their dads and grandpas. Another wonderful part of our day was celebrating Shabbat together.
Thank you to everyone who participated. It was such a joy seeing the children with their dads and grandpas. On Thursday, we went to see Room 25's Art Project, which was displayed in Taub Annex. This Art Project was a group effort by all of our friends, everyone participated. This amazing painting will be auctioned off at our Gala on Saturday night. This week we were also lucky enough to observe hummingbirds in our yard. The children were fascinated as they watched the birds hover and drink red sugar water. They waited patiently as the hummingbirds came and went. Sometimes we even got to see two or three hummingbirds. It was very exciting. Nature is a tool for learning many things. It was great having all the children back at school this week. Just a reminder: if your child is sick, or just not feeling like like themselves, please DO NOT send them to school. Germs travel fast through our classroom, and then travel home to siblings and parents. Thank you for being considerate. March 2nd @ 11:00 is Picture Day at school. Wednesday, March 16th (12:00 early dismissal) and Thursday, March 17th (pupil free day) are Parent/Teacher Conference Days. Please sign up online. We look forward to to sharing stories with you about your amazing children. Shabbat Shalom to all! Marcela and Judy
