Shabbat Shalom to all!
It was so nice chatting and touching base with so many of you. Morning drop off and pick up time can be quite busy so we were glad that we had the opportunity to talk with you about how wonderful your little ones are doing and share a little bit about what their days are like at school. They are all growing and developing - and we are so proud of them! During music with Brock on Monday, our friends experimented with guiros. They rubbed their sticks along the notches and made ratchet sounds while singing songs. In addition, Brock helped our friends remember to say, thank you, when coming up to get an instrument. The weather this week was so beautiful and our friends in Room 25 really enjoyed their outside play time. Outdoor play is essential for building gross motor skills. Riding on bikes, scooters, climbing up the stairs to the slide, climbing up the rock wall, jumping, running, throwing, catching and kicking a ball are all activities that strengthen motor skills. These skills are needed to control large muscles. When playing outside, our friends are also making choices, developing problem-solving and social skills. Best of all, they are having fun! Come to school in your PJ's on Monday, November 2nd. It's Pajama Day! Can't wait to see everyone in their cozy pajamas. Have a wonderful weekend, Marcela and Judy
