Dear parents,
Here it is! The last newsletter of the year. It has been such an amazing year. You children are wonderful and we are so thankful that you have entrusted them with us. They have grown so much over the last ten months and it is very rewarding to witness as their teachers. We also wanted to thank all of you for your involvement and constant support. As a reminder, next Tuesday we are having a small goodbye party in the class at 11:30. There will be pizza and ice cream. On Wednesday is our last day of school. It is a regular day. There is no enrichment next week but there will be extended. On Thursday June 2nd is the day of the celebration. Please bring the children in the main sanctuary at 10:45. Our celebration will take place in the Plotkin Chapel at 11:00. We will start on time as other classes are celebrating with us as well. Shabbat Shalom Anne and Vera.

Dear Parents,
This week the children are working hard on preparing for the celebration. They are really enjoying singing together the beautiful songs we are learning. We celebrated Yom Ha'atzmaout last week and the children are now working on creating their journal page. They are able to recall more details and make connections with Israel and what we have learned. Next week is our last full week of school. It is hard to believe that this year is coming to an end and it has been such an amazing year! Dear parents,
We hope you enjoyed the time spent with your children during the break. We missed seeing the children and are glad to be back in class. This week has been very special with the visits of mothers and grandmothers. The children enjoyed spending time with moms painting or playing in the class. We also had a visit from Golnaz who gave the class a presentation about doctors and why it is important to see your doctor when you are sick or for a checkup. The children got to wear masks and surgeon hats. They also listened to their heart beat. We have also been working hard on our Mother's Day gifts. If you have not done so yet, please make sure to come in the class and guess which one is your portrait. We hope you enjoy what the children have made for you. For the end of the year celebration we need pictures of your children. Please bring a picture of when they were a baby, one when they were about 3, and a recent picture. On Thursday May 12 please send your child to school wearing blue and white in honor iof Israel's 68th birthday. Shabbat Shalom. Anne and Vera Reminders: -May 1: Yom Haatzmaut.
