Hi Room 3 parents! As we continue on to our third week of school, the children have been demonstrating hard work using their fine motor skills. From making holiday cards to creating their own shofars out of clay, the kids also have a deeper understanding of Rosh Hashana. By observing the shofar, apple, torah, and honey, the class was able to accurately copy the objects in front of them and draw to the best of their ability. While forming the shofars, each child used a little water to help mold the clay and experimented with the different shapes and sizes that they were able to construct. The children show responsibilities by following up with their classroom jobs, signing their name every morning, and practicing their numbers and letters throughout the day. We build together, read together, and explore new concepts. We are so excited to see the children’s progress and admire all the great ideas they have been bringing to the classroom. Chag Sameach and Shana Tovah! Vera & Karen RemindersSnack for week of September 29: Aaron Cohen
