What a wonderful week! The children in room 3 started off the week doing a beautiful Mitzvah of donating food to the homeless and hungry through the SOVA market. Each of the children received a sticker for being a Sova Hero. The children were very curious about why we give to SOVA when it is not Shabbat, so we discussed the importance of doing mitzvot every day of the week.
We continued the story of Passover, and the children used this opportunity to write about the holiday in their journals. Some chose to draw baby Moses, while others drew the burning bush. Each child dictated their favorite part of the story to us to write in their journal. We began to learn the four questions for the Seder. We have been working on some Passover songs that we look forward to singing for all of you at our Seder. We are so proud of the hard work and practice during PE. The children love being with Coach Herold. This week they worked on throwing, hitting and catching the ball over the net. Coach also gave the children the option to play basketball on the "big kid" hoops. We have some real basketball stars in this class. Our year is going by so fast! This week the children recorded their Pre-K video. They loved being in front of the camera having their "star" moment. Reminders: Please join us for our Passover Seder on April 4th at 11:00am We look forward to celebrating Shabbat with Addison and her family on April 7th. Please remember a Hallah and plant. April 7 is a half day- Noon dismissal
