This was a short but jam packed week with all things Purim! we are gearing up for our celebration of Purim culminating with our Purim carnival on Sunday! We hope to see you all there. We finished our groggers, each child decorated their own crowns and they also completed a journal page describing the story of Purim. Each child told of the King, Haman, Vashti, Ester and Mordechi and how Ester’s bravery saved the day. They loved pretending they were these characters and they really took the details and character traits seriously when performing part of the story for each other.
Friday was also our last Farmer’s Market in support of Mica at Beit Issie Shapero. It was a beautiful day with special people doing mitzvoth. The children were able to choose from delicious fruit and vegetables and they really enjoyed it. Thank you to all of you for bringing in berries.
