What a week we have had. On Monday morning our caterpillars were on their way to turning into butterflies. We talked about the great sleep they were going to get for ten whole days before they show us their pretty wings. We also had My Gym where we tumbled and danced and sang. Everyone has great somersault skills.
Tuesday we had library with Eli’s Dad David. He read a class favorite, “Dragons Love Tacos,” and everyone had the chance to pick a book of their own to read. On Wednesday we talked more about the butterflies and worked on a project about symmetry. We has a discussion about how when the butterflies come out their wings are going to be the same on both sides. I still have no idea how that happens. We also celebrated Taylor’s birthday and everyone shared cookie cake and made cards for her. Thursday we had music with Andrew, a class favorite. We made the sounds of bugs and frogs and snakes and as always had a great time. Friday we had an amazing Shabbat with Audrey and her family. Our classroom is getting filled with the most beautiful plants and we can’t wait to plant them in our garden. We had a great week, but we can’t wait for teacher Fern to come back!
