Dear Parents,
We hope that you had a good holiday and an easy fast! This week was short but very active. We spent a lot of time outdoors with water tables playing with various sized containers to experiment with volume of liquids. Story time was very engaging all week as well; the children love the stories where they can get involved and put animals and characters on the felt board. Our question of the week was reflective of Yom Kippur and asked, “How can we help our friends?” Some of the responses were wonderful to hear! Some examples were to give a friend a kiss or hug, give a high five, ask if they are ok if they get hurt, and being nice. It was truly great to see the children give their own unique responses to this question. Shabbat this week was very exciting as well! We went to the farmers market that was held on campus and the children got to activate all of their senses and get some delicious healthy food in the process! Just a few reminders: There is Tot Shabbat this Saturday, September 26th, at 10:00am in Hershenson Hall. Also, Monday September 28th school is closed in observance of Sukkot. Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you on Tuesday. Best, Tatiana and Lashelle
