Shalom Ulpanon Bet families,
This week was all about Hanukkah. We began the week preparing for our Hanukkah party with rehearsals and many songs about Hanukkah. There was a big excitement around the classroom as we prepared the room with decorations and the Hanukkiyot that were brought from home. The children helped get the classroom ready for the party. Thank you for attending our Hanukkah party. We couldn’t have done it without your participation and it was so meaningful to light the candles with you all in the class and celebrate with you. We had PE with Coach Danny where the children engaged in a game of Rolling Dodgeball. The children made a circle and there were two children in the middle and the rest of the class had to roll the ball to try to get the two in the middles feet and they switched places if they succeeded. We had Music with Maestro where he sang a variety of songs including some Hanukkah songs and some body movement songs. We had Rabbi Josh had a interesting Hanukkah book for the children about a spinning dradel “The Run Away Dreidell” and we enjoyed singing Hanukkah songs together. We enjoyed our All School Shabbat, it was lovely! Huge THANK YOU for your kind words, love , appreciation and generous gifts, we truly appreciate it all Reminders: Winter Break begins on Monday, December 19th and we will return to school on Tuesday, January 3rd. Have a restful, healthy, Happy Hanukkah and a Happy New Year. See you in 2017! Shabbat Shalom, With Love, Talia, Meirav and Gali
