We had another fun and insightful week at school.
We played, laughed, sang songs, read stories, jumped around like monkeys, hit our huge drum and felt the vibration. We had music with Andrew, sang songs and played with instruments that made sounds of rain. We talked about the holidays coming up on the 1st and 2nd of May. We talked about the flag of Israel, sang songs about it, played with play dough, did art projects, and even got to play games with our own flags. We ended our wonderful week all walking together to the temple to celebrate Shabbat. We heard a fun story about a boy named Eli flying home from Israel. How blessed we all are. Shabbat Shalom. What a wonderful week of Passover! Story time with fun and silly books. Creative and silly felt stories about the mouse in the colorful house looking for his kiddish cup of grape juice, matzah and maccarron cookie. The children were also busy designing Passover placemats and kiddish cups, Passover items that they will take home to use during their own family Passover Seder. We have also continued to practice the Passover story and songs for our very exciting classroom Seder. The children were excited for their parents to join in the celebration. Teacher Genene led us through an amazing and creative Seder. with songs, stories, frogs to play with and music with Andrew. Passover break is this Friday. We will miss all your children. Have a wonderful and safe Passover break. Shabbat Shalom and Happy Passover Nikki and Liora *REMINDERS* - Early Dismissal April 7th 12:00 - Passover Break April 10th - 21st. |
