Breaking News! On Wednesday, the 12th of November, the Blue Team had a big competition! If they would have won their game they would have been in first place (in the league). But instead, we lost. Luckily, it wasn’t that bad of a loss. The outcome came out to be 18 to 22. Though we didn’t get first we still got in 2nd place! Go Wildcats - that is still good. Anyways we still won 3 out of 5 games. Right now as I am saying this it is now soccer for the girls fifth grade.
The sports program for boys and girls in fourth grade is very exciting. Students finally get a chance to experience playing for the school. The girls are swishing jump shots while the boys are throwing touchdowns! Although this is not professional sports the sky's the limit for the hardworking kids. Now getting to the close. Everybody is excited for the new jerseys and the best part is everybody looks good and is looking fly. Hope you come back to see the new news!
Mrs. Weiser speaks out on sports at Wise. "There is pride in the teams and the parents are really into it. I think the coaches are amazing. She likes the jerseys and thinks they look good. "I like how there is sports with all the other subjects. I like sports because you don’t only get in shape, but you have fun while being with your friends and working out." PS Don’t forget to have some Wise sports spirit! Rabbi Yoshi says that the football teams are going to be great if we listen to our coaches. Ethan says, "When you come to our games and were losing do you get disappointed? The girls went undefeated. The boys football team clinched the playoffs. It relates to the Royals - no one should underestimate anyone. Rabbi Yoshi loves the new jerseys. When you see someone on the other team down, do you want to get them up? Do you like it when we lose a game? We said, "Do you like the coaches?" He says, "Over the years I have gotten to know the coaches better." He says last year the the girls soccer team was undefeated. Ethan says can you relate our teams to the time. Never quit, do your best. Show respect. Jokes: By Matan, James, and Daryn

Interview with Mrs. Behar
Q. What are you planning for the Prospective Parent Open House? Mrs. Behar: Our next Open House is on Wednesday December 2, at 9:00am. We are expecting a lot of families. Families start out by meeting our 6th grade ambassadors and attending the school fair. Then they get a tour of the entire school with our parent ambassadors where they visit classrooms and all the specialists. Q. What is the best part of your job in your opinion? Mrs. Behar: I love to give tours of the school to all the families. I walk into every room and something wonderful is happening and it makes me so proud to share that with the parents. Q. What is the process of finding schools for the Wise School 6 graders? Mrs. Behar: Starting in 5th grade I meet with families to talk about schools that they might be interested in for 7th grade. At the beginning of 6th grade I meet with each family individually to make a real plan about the schools that their child will apply to. There are so many schools in Los Angeles and it is so fun helping to find the right school for their child. Interview with Mrs. Jillian Moore Q. What is your most favorite part of your job?
