The children were excited to give their Mom a gift for Mother’s Day. They glued tissue paper on a glass jar, added some sparkle and some love, and voila’…a handmade Mother’s Day gift from their own little hands.
As our year winds down, think back on those first few weeks in September. Lots of tears, anxiety and the beginnings of entrusting your child’s teachers with your most precious gift. Look at them now. Eight months later and they’ve turned into independent, self-sufficient, trusting little children who have learned what it is to have a friend, enjoy a school day and look forward to their parents or grandparents return. -Please have your child wear WHITE on Friday, May 22 in honor of Shavuot -No school on May 25 in observance of Shavuot and Memorial Day -End of year party on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 3 from 11:15-12:00.
