We started our week off very musically with Teacher Brock and his guitar. Our friends in Room 25 have definitely got the beat. We began by singing Boker Tov - Good Morning to you and then continued singing familiar songs, in addition, to learning some new songs. Each week Brock introduces a musical instrument. This week the children played the tambourine. Music is a wonderful way to bring our friends together and help them interact with one another. While singing, they are learning about numbers and letters, and while moving they are learning about rhythm, timing, and personal space. Best of all, they are having fun!
This week we have noticed that friendships are blossoming in the sandbox, on the slide and all around our classroom. As our friends play cooperatively, they are trying out new ideas and problem solving. What amazing and valuable skills to be learning in school. Please check your child's box to make sure they have enough weather appropriate clothing! Also, if you have not signed up for a conference, the sign-up sheet is in our classroom. Thank you for your love and support. Shabbat Shalom! Marcela and Judy
