It's been a wonderful week in Room 25! We have had a great time painting, drawing with pencils, playing with play dough, doing puzzles, chalk drawing and gluing. In other words, we have been focusing on strengthening our fine motor skills. As we set up our centers in the classroom, we structure the environment to support specific goals. Developing fine motor skills is important for so many everyday activities, such as writing, using a fork, cutting with scissors, opening and closing lunch boxes, getting dressed and undressed. When your children come to school, they are developing these important skills while being creative and having lots of fun! We are so excited to watch them play and develop at the same time.
Mazal Tov! Congratulations to Paulina, Tal and big brother Mason on the birth of Mila! We wish you all the joy and happiness in the world! Reminders: Parent/Teacher Meetings are next week. Early Dismissal on Wednesday, 10/28 No school on Thursday, 10/29 If you have not signed up, there is a sign-up sheet in our classroom. We would love the opportunity to chat and tell you wonderful stories about your children. Please bring Tzedakah and a can for SOVA on Fridays. Please check your child's box to make sure they have enough clothing, diapers and wipes. We hope you have a wonderful weekend! Shabbat Shalom! Marcela and Judy
