Shalom Ulpanon Bet Families,
Wow! It’s hard to believe we only have about a week left in the school year and until our celebration. What a beautiful and amazing year we had. We are a bit emotional and not ready to say goodbye, though we know your children will do wonderfully as they move on. In class, we have been talking about all the fun things we have done throughout the year. We worked on a journal page where each child shared his/her memories and drew a picture. We also started learning and practicing for our end of the year performance. In addition to preparing for our celebration, our children also painted the decorations that we will use to decorate the Celebration room. On Thursday, we celebrated Eitan’s 5th Birthday, Mazal Tov Eitan! This Friday was Brooks’ special Shabbat. His family came to celebrate with us. Also, the teachers enjoyed a nice event for “Yom Hamorah”(Teacher Appreciation Day) at the Bader’s house with fun activities and great food. Words cannot describe how grateful we are for that experience. We were pampered and cared for throughout the entire event. It truly reflected the amount of gratitude we believe you feel towards the work we have done with your children this year. Thank you for your contribution for this event, we deeply appreciate it. Reminder: - Wednesday, May 25, 2016 is Leah’s special Library Day. - Monday, May 30, 2016 is no school in honor of Memorial Day. - June 1st is the last day of school. Please make sure you take a look at the end of year party email that Layne sent – let’s end the year off with a great time together. - Thursday, June 2nd at 11am is the Celebration Day (no school/just the celebration). Please bring your child to the sanctuary at 10:30 SHARP – PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE! Shabbat Shalom and have a wonderful weekend! Warmly, Talia and Meirav
