It's been another fun week! Our friends are feeling more comfortable each day they come to school.
This year one of our main goals will be helping our friends in Room 25 build their fine motor skills. Many of the activities at our learning centers help build fine motor skills. When your children finger paint, use a paint brush, play with play dough, put puzzles together, and build with blocks, they are increasing their muscle strength and coordination. All of these activities, prepare them for more advanced skills like holding a pencil and writing. This week we used pegs, played with play dough, built with Magna tiles, and used mini penguins - all of these activities were fun and also helped strengthen their fine motor skills and pre-writing skills. Thank you to everyone for supporting our Beit Issie Shapiro's Farmer's Market. We all had a blast eating fresh fruit and vegetables and it was also a big Mitzvah! Reminders: Tuesday, October 31st - Noon Dismissal for all. Wednesday, November 1st - No School - Parent/Teacher Meetings Tuesday, November 7th - Pajama Day at School ALSO @ 3:00 @ the Temple - EC Book Fair Pajama Party Thank you all for bringing in fresh fruit each week. It is very much appreciated! Have a wonderful weekend! Shabbat Shalom, Marcela, Sigal and Judy
