Shalom Ulpanon Bet Families,
Fall has come and with it, came many new learning opportunities! This week we went on a nature walk. We examined all of the different things like the weather, sky, trees and collected beautiful leaves. In class, we have talked about how the colors change during autumn (the sky, trees, leaves) we also talked about the signs of fall: snails, birds travelling, mushrooms and falling leaves. For our class art project, we made a group collage with the objects we collected during our nature walk. We made a beautiful sky painting with travelling birds. The children worked on a math activity that involved counting and number tracing, all done in small groups. “Share and Tell” – the children were so excited to share their pictures that they brought from home with all of their classmates. Next week, the theme for “Share and Tell” will be fall, so please take some time this coming week to collect a nature item from home and/or around your neighborhood. On Friday, please remember to bring Sova and Tzedakah to support Nika at Beit Issie Shapiro in Israel. Thank you, Orly (Shiley’s mom) for coming to the library and reading books for us. The children enjoyed it very much. Shabbat Shalom, Warmly, Talia and Meirav
