Dear Parents,
Its been another great week in room 21! Our children are progressing, building friendships and are branching out and exploring all parts of the classroom and yard. You can see that their comfort levels have increased and we are truly settling in now (despite the happy interruptions of the preceding holidays). Many of the children have been interested in toileting and hand washing, playing in the kitchen, reading books and of course, playing with blocks and vehicles on the rug. We added a birthday cake to our dramatic play area this week and the children all enjoyed coming together to sing "Happy Birthday" and to pretend to eat cake. It's been a wonderful way to get together and include everyone. They are building language by singing and talking together and their social skills continue to develop through inclusive play and turn taking. We also completed the Beit Issie fund raiser art project and the children have all done hand prints. They came out great! We will be providing more details about how to contribute to Nika's education by buying some of the products featuring your child's work very soon. Have a wonderful weekend - Shabbat Shalom, Anita & Sue
