Shalom Ulpanon Bet Families, Although this was a short week, our days were filled with lots of learning. We introduced the story of Thanksgiving and the children showed great interest. Their curiosity promoted very interesting questions. For “Share and Tell”, the children shared something that had a scent to it. We put it in a box and had to guess what it was. We also discussed what part of the body we use depending on what sense is involved. For the next weeks “Share and Tell”, please bring a family picture from Thanksgiving or any picture regarding the holiday. On Wednesday, we enjoyed our “Tricycle Express”, and every Thursday, we visit the Maestro in the Music Lab. This week, Marla, participated in our forty-five minute lesson. We hope you had a chance to see the piece of art our friends made. We had the children decorate a hand and it says: “V’Ahavta L’Reacha Kamocha” in Hebrew in the center. This is the theme of the school this year which when translated means, "you shall love your friend the way you love yourself." Have a great weekend and a special Shabbat, Warmly, Talia and Meirav Reminders A special reminder from Marla:We have two exciting events coming up next week and I look forward to seeing all of you there:
