Time to wind down and take nice deep breaths. This is a hard time of year for all of us. Especially the Pre-K classes. Endings are beginnings and bittersweet. We have spent circle time talking about the exciting things we did this year and what we are doing each day to make this last few moments of school be forever in our hearts.
The children have been working so hard at Pre-K Celebration rehearsal. The change that has occurred over the past 2 weeks has been astounding. They are putting their heart and souls into each song. You can see in their faces that the excitement growing. They have asked us how many more days there until the mommies and daddies are joining us to see them sing. This week we have been busy celebrating Teacher Ren, Sebastian and Dior’s Birthday. We had a lot of sweet treats. Thank you all for helping to make Ren’s birthday a special and wonderful day. The children have finished up their Shabbat Boxes and they are going to be sent home on Tuesday after the closing circle with you. It is very important for you to arrive by 9:00 Tuesday morning so we can commence with the circle and everyone will have a chance to reflect on the year as well as the teachers will have some time to reflect on each of your children. Shabbat was a little different this week. We didn’t bake challah because of the time crunch. But do not fear, we still have one more baking day on Monday. The children on making muffins for the closing circle for everyone to enjoy. Wishing everyone Shabbat Shalom, Ren and Fern Reminders: Saturday, June 1st Final Tot Shabbat for the year Tuesday, June 4th Closing Circle 9:00 Wednesday, June 5th final day of EC. It is a full day, including Enrichments and Extended Day Thursday, June 6th Pre-K Celebration. Drop off for children will be in Plotkin Chapel at 9:00 and the program begins promptly at 9:30 in the Main Sanctuary
