All the rehearsing has paid off…the children did an amazing job at our Pesach Model Seder on Thursday. They knew all the songs and performed with pride and confidence. We are also very proud of their accomplishments.
We practiced all week long for our Pesach Seder and we played the Afikoman game. The children were so excited to search and find the Afikoman. We also made pizza matzah and the children enjoyed eating a pizza that looked very different than what they are used to. We wish you and your families a Happy Pesach and a wonderful spring vacation. The children in Ulpanon Alef can tell you the story of Pesach… just ask them!
We are getting ready for our upcoming Pesach Seder and learning all the songs. We practiced and spent time with all our Explorer friends. The children are excited to know that their parents will be celebrating with them. This week we built with magnet tiles and blocks and the children are really enjoying working together as a team. We are using scissors on a daily basis and the children are starting to master this skill. Have a wonderful weekend, a meaningful Shabbat and know that we look forward to seeing you all next week for the Pesach Seder. We introduced the characters of the story and the children compared Paroh (Pharoh) to Haman. We are learning songs for Pesach and painted green to create frogs who jump on Paroh and his bed. The children are working with the block and magnet tiles, building Egypt and using small plastic frogs. we painted blue to represent the sea that was miraculously split to allow Bnai Israel to pass through and escape from the hands of the Egyptians. We spoke about Egypt being located in a Meedbar (Desert), near Israel and spoke about Liat’s trip to Israel. The children were happy to have chocolate and cookies from Israel as they requested for Liat’s flight.
