Students in the Wildcat Robotics Afterschool class did some troubleshooting and engineering to get this color sorter up and running.
Aiden and Alex are recording their observations of lunar rocks during after school robotics enrichment class in the Tyberg Arts and Innovation Lab. The team is working on a space-based challenge with Mindstorms EV3 robots. The moon rocks were collected during the Apollo 17 mission and are on loan to Wise School from the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.
We were learning about lines of symmetry and how kaleidoscopes are designed in a way that allows for different types of particles to be used for symmetrical designs. Then we created a few of our own. Fifth graders have been using Google Docs to create outlines by formating the numbering feature.
You asked for it and we made it happen. Wildcat Robotics T-Shirts are now available for purchase. We are using Custom Ink for the t-shirts and Booster to create an easy way for you to purchase your t-shirt and help us support our robotics program.
When asked about the idea of t-shirt sales Mrs. Weiser said, "Great idea, I want the first one. Let's wear them on Mondays to morning assembly and on the days there are afterschool robotics!" "I concur," exclaimed Ms. Hoffman, jumping for joy. You have until February 20th to order your shirt.
