Dear Ulpanon Alef, This week, we took a walk around our campus collecting leaves of all shapes, colors and sizes. On the way back from our nature walk, we stopped to play on the big grass area around the Temple, which also has lots of natural scenery we could explore. We also discussed the colors we see during fall: red, orange, yellow, green and brown. Using those colors, we painted a gigantic piece of bark and glued the leaves we found while walking our campus. In addition to learning about fall colors, we focused on the color: blue (kachol). We painted using various shades of blue and then collaged blue items on top. During the week, we also introduced scissors. The children seemed to enjoy snipping the paper. We also had fun riding on tricycles during our bi-weekly Tricycle Express time. Thank you to all our friends who brought seeds and pumpkins to our class. Parent Reminders: PLEASE CUT HOT DOGS, GRAPES, OLIVES, SMALL TOMATOES… -Wednesday October 28- 12.pm.
