Ulpanon Alef is working on Tu B’ Shevat this week. We are learning about the parts of a tree and its functions. We planted beans in cotton with water in clear cups so that we can learn about the parts of a plant. Shoresh (roots) Geevol (stem) and, Aleem (leaves). The children were given paper pieces of the Shkediyah tree and created beautiful creations on construction paper. Every tree is unique and beautiful. We also painted individual trees on canvas ... please look for our new artwork in our class. Next week we will create individual trees out of clay. Every day the children look for their names in Hebrew during circle time and at lunch time. They are learning how to recognize their names and their friends’ names. We enjoyed pajama day with a breakfast with our room 11 friends. Please check out the pictures below.
