Dear Parents,
On Monday we started our day with music. Teacher Andrew brought so many fun musical instruments for the children to try. We also reviewed our colors while singing songs with our scarves. After music, we walked to the construction site where we all "signed" our name on one of the final beams going up in our new gym. It will be a forever lasting memory. During outdoor play, we enjoyed incorporating water play by giving the children various tools to measure the water and mix water with sand to see what happens. Since the weather will continue to be so beautiful, we look forward to continuing both water play and science experiments including water. We introduced Passover and started decorating and singing songs about frogs. We had so much fun making matzah, using paint, marbles and a box. The children used their muscles to shake the box and create a dramatic effect. Some children worked with a friend to shake the box together. This led to beautiful conversations about teamwork and turn-taking. While painting the frogs, children had the option to use a toothbrush or q-tip with which to paint. This continued to strengthen their fine motor skills. Thank you to Amanda and her family for bringing in snack and spending Shabbat with us. Thank you to all who came to parent/ teacher conferences. We enjoyed speaking and listening to you all about your amazing children. Shabbat Shalom, Marloes, Michelle and Tatiana REMINDERS: -Please send in extra clothes, socks and underwear as we will be continuing our water play. -April 5th at 11:00am we will be having our Passover Seder.
