Week of December 14, 2015 What a fun and exciting week we had. On Thursday we had our first spirit day, Israel Day! All of the students came dressed in either Blue and White, or their favorite Israeli gear. There was Israeli music, dancing, and we even got to eat some delicious Bissli. Our Royal Reader this week did a wonderful job of reading one of his favorite books, Here Comes Trouble, to the class. Week of December 7, 2015
This week the students had a wonderful time celebrating Hanukkah during the Second Grade Hanukkah party. They played the dreidle game, decorated delicious cookies, made edible dreidles, and decorated some beautiful pictures frames. What a great way to celebrate the festival of lights! Happy Hanukkah to all! Week of November 30, 2015 This week in Hebrew the students began learning about the story of Hanukkah and all of the different vocabulary terms to go along with it. Klei Kodesh Our Klei Kodesh this week did a fantastic job of leading us in the M'Sheberach prayer along with telling us about who they are praying for healing. Royal Reader The Royal Readers this week did an outstanding job of reading and sharing their books to the class. Important Upcoming Dates
