Students in Mrs. Miodovsky's class talk about what they do and don't have. The children learned about the Hebrew calendar. Each student looked up for his or her Hebrew birth date, and created birthday invitation. The children also listed the names of the Hebrew months by order and learned that the month of Elul is the last month of the year, and that the Jewish new year begins on the month of Tishrei. Picture Day InfoParents, packets for Picture Day were sent home today with your child. Please ask your child to give it to you. The packet contains information about the date and time of your child's class picture day and the password for accessing the photos when they are posted to the photographer's website, www.collages.net. Ordering information is provided in the packet. Upcoming DatesMonday, 9/29 - Picture Day (Mrs. Neal's class)

Our scholars are hitting their groove and really making great strides as they settle into fourth grade routines. This week, our scholars continued to deepen their understanding of concepts across the disciplines by sharing their knowledge with their peers. It is amazing seeing our children teach each other what they've learned and deepen their own understanding in doing so. Check out the slide show below to see some great examples! The fourth grade team would like to thank you to all of you for coming to Back to School Night. We enjoyed having some time to connect with all of you and hope that it was helpful and informative. With the High Holidays on the way, we wish you and your family a sweet New Year. Chag Sameach!
