It was a busy, meaningful, and productive week in fourth grade! We experienced wholeness with our fourth graders Klei Kodesh who graced us with their thoughts on holiness during our services today. This week, students learned about the sacrifices and honor associated with the veterans that have served the United States and also connected it to the service of those in the IDF for the State of Israel. In addition, Rabbi Josh Knobel presented us with another perspective on Jewish participation in the American military with his presentation during tefillah today. In Mrs. Neal's math class, Mr. Rivera was kind enough to share his knowledge as an economist in relation to their current stock market project. Finally, students had an opportunity to delve into our unit of study on the Spanish and European explorers in California in the 1500s with their teacher, Ms. Twersky. What a fantastic week of learning together! Important and Upcoming DatesMonday, November 16th - Professional Development Day - No School
