The fourth graders completed the first book and reviewed the material that they learned so far in Mrs. Roni Stone's Hebrew class. Mrs. Hechtman's reading students connect the topic of political and government corruption to their novel reading by reading supporting non-fiction texts about current events in Los Angeles. Students in Mrs. Neal's class explore different types of power in relation to the creation of the California Missions and share their work on the computer.
