Information About Camp AlonimDear Parents, Please note that there has been a time change for our field trip this Monday to Camp Alonim. We will be boarding the buses at 7:15 and will depart at 7:30 am. Please be sure that your child arrives on time and meets the 4th grade teachers at the grade level assigned buses on the upper field. Additionally, our security guard, Michael, will be accompanying us the entire day, and the school nurse will also be onsite should she be needed. Students do not need to bring a snack or lunch as these things will be provided. Please be sure that your child brings a reusable water bottle with their name clearly marked on it. We will not be providing disposable water bottles as we have in the past. Your child should wear closed toe shoes and wear layers since it will be cool in the morning and warmer in the afternoon. Be sure to have your child put sunscreen on before coming to school if they have fair or sensitive skin. Looking forward to a fun day of making great happen! Learning Deeply in Project Studio
Students in fourth grade recently wrapped up their study of California's 5 regions. In their research, they learned about the differences and similarities in the climate, vegetation, geography, and natural resources of each region. As a culminating activity, students participated in a Project Studio lesson with Mr. Jason Meth where they engaged in hands-on activities to further their learning. Check out the photos from our first Project Studio experience!
In Hebrew, fourth graders worked on a writing activity about the objects that they have and the objects that they don't have in the sentence, "yesh li-----" "ein li---------", This helped them incorporate new Hebrew vocabulary into their writing.
